Terra Firma

"Audacious", some might say. I say, "Why not?!"
"Think of the green leaves or the yellow flower".

Still looking fresh on the crystal vase,
crisp as the raw tamrind fruit; the tamrind leaves.
The lemon yellow Jasmine; leaning on the leaf,
smells like sweet lemonade with some ginger.

There will be no flowers, there will be no leaves,
the water in the vase will turn dirty; or unclean.
The vase maybe there till the water gets replacement,
or the vase may just fall flat on Aesop's Terra Firma.
